"Clubs are too restrictive
and confining." Ask any independent rider and that's what
they'll tell you. Unfortunately, this is true, as I found out
with my experiences. That is why we've decided to build this web
page for the Lone Wolf as a communication tool. Too often, riders
bypass the camaraderie of a club because they don't like the limitations
expressed by the charter.
I've been a Lone Wolf for the
better part of 15 years. I was once a patched member of a club,
but I didn't like the feeling of being told where to go, how to
go, and who to go with. I dropped my patch and rode by myself,
missing the feeling of companionship and family.
This site is dedicated to that
spirit of companionship and family. A place to be able to network
with other riders in your area, as well as all over North America
and the world. A common bond brings us together, the feeling of
the ride. It doesn't matter what you ride; it just matters that
you ride. We accept riders from all walks of life who hold no
affiliation with a patched club. This site is a place for you
to make new friends as well as communicate and advertise rides
in your area for the benefit of charity and camaraderie.
Allow us to introduce ourselves
- we are RedRock and Sassy. After a visit with our Canadian Bro,
Toxigenic, we decided that there was a huge lack of networking
available to those riders who were not affiliated with a "club".
Hence, the idea for The Lone Wolf Association was born. RedRock
has years of riding experience, but little web site building experience.
Sassy has no riding experience, but tons of site building know-how,
so it's a match made in heaven. Together, we're hoping to create
something that riders from all over the world will utilize and
enjoy. We are an "association" not an "affiliation"
in the regard that we have no membership dues (though donations
are welcome to help defray site hosting and maintenance costs),
there are no initiations, there are no patches, and there are
no expectations. Our goal is to build a worldwide family of riders
and free spirits.

a few!)
